Bet of the day PSV Rangers

Prediction Psv Eindhoven Rangers

The two teams drew 2-2 in the first leg, but everything is still possible. A ticket to the group stages of the UEFA Champions League is at stake.

After their qualification against AS Monaco, PSV went to G.A. Eagles 2-5 to get a very good result in Scotland 2-2 and keep all their chances to make the difference in the boiling atmosphere of the Philips Stadion.

Eindhoven has a crazy record: 8 games without defeat in all competitions, including 6 wins. Luk De Jong's team-mates were also crowned Dutch Super Cup winners at the beginning of the season, beating eternal rivals Ajax 3-5, and lead the league on goal difference (9 scored, 3 conceded) after two rounds. PSV will not have played at the weekend, giving the Dutch team a good week to prepare for the return match.

Rangers were unlucky finalists in the previous edition of the Europa League in , but could still secure their ticket to the UEFA Champions League if they win this match against PSV. However, after an indecisive first leg, the Scottish side failed to break away in front of their home crowd and the hardest part is yet to come for them. Having pulled off a pure miracle against Belgian side Royale Union SG in the previous round by winning the return leg at home (3-0, 2-0 in the first leg), the recent Scottish Cup champions followed up with a league win at home against St. Johnstone 4-0. Unlike PSV, Rangers have been on the attack in the league and are not really reassured by their 2-2 draw at Hibernian.

PSV Glasgow Rangers squad

1-PSV's injury list is full. Seven players missed the first leg, including former Monaco player Carlos Vinicius (6 goals, 6 assists last season) and former Nice player Olivier Boscagli (injured). Mauro Junior (groin injury), Belgian Yorbe Vertessen and Englishman Madueke (3 goals, 3 assists last season) are also uncertain for tonight. Ledezma and Hoever, who were used at the beginning of the season, have recently joined the list of unavailable players (doubtful).

2-Rangers will once again have to do without the excellent Kemar Roofe. Ianis Hagi, son of Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi, has been injured since last season, as has Swedish international Filip Helander. Nigerian Nnamdi Ofoborth is out with a heart condition. In the first leg, summer recruit Antonio Colak scored his 5th goal in all competitions and his 4th in as many games. Malik Tillman (Bayern Munich, loan) is also very interesting with two goals in three games.

To talk about the mercato, the Scottish club has lost three key players: Nigerian international defender Balogun, Calvin Bassey (left back, Ajax) and Joe Aribo (central midfielder, Southampton). Aaron Ramsey (Nice) and the young Diallo (Man U) were not retained after their loan.
